Today my goal is to make some improvements to the in-game menu.
First of all, it’s always bugged me how the menu doesn’t seem to scale properly at free-aspect Game View resolutions.
Next, because there are so many different settings and I usually have to scroll a bit to find the one(s) I want to change, I thought it’d be nice to make the sections collapsible and also add a search bar.

All this with one prompt. Time for the next one.
I asked Claude to add HDR color and gradient pickers to the in-game menu a la the animation curve editor I added back in February. Back then, I barely got it working, but this time around, I have a lot more experience prompting and have also since bootstrapped Claude with useful skills that teach it CLI access to Ghidra and ILSpy. Also, most importantly, I’m using Opus 5.5 instead of Opus 4.6.
Yeah…I probably need to give Claude most of the credit — because all I prompted was this:
Claude Prompt
I’d like to implement the unity editor’s gradient and HDR color pickers into my in-game settings menu. I already did this for the animation curve editor. Use ghidra and ilspy to look inside unityeditor.dll
Shit’s too easy!
