I’m trying to make the energy balls look as natural as they did in the original project. As an initial effort, I decreased the particle count, increased the particle size and lifetime, and added an intro animation for the particle speed.
Take a look at this footage from my original version:
It looks like the ball flies in from above instead of already being in the center of the hands. That shift in position helps create some natural swirls before any hand motion is even introduced.
Creating a proper into and outro for the particles will be my primary task this weekend. Once that’s taken care of, I can start looking into gesture control, which is where things will really get exciting.
